Temple Expiatori del Sagrat Cor – Tibidabo – Barcelona is the Catalan name for “Expiatory Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus” which is the name of the temple church above “Tibidabo”, the tallest mountain in the Serra de Collserola, and overlooking all Barcelona. Construction of the church took around 60 years, from 1902 to 1961, before that there was only a small hermitage above the mountain, which was integrated into the temple. Well to be honest they found their beds, they had the rest of their day to spend in a small village, cooking, washing, sleeping or just hanging out. But what was the point of rushing?
